Changing Created Date with name of file

Hi,

I have a large junk of files named

2018 07 01 - WA0001.jpg
2018 07 02 - WA0001.jpg
2018 07 03 - WA0001.jpg
...


etc.

I was wondering, if it is possible to convert the first string of the file name into a date (2018/07/03) and alter the created date? Something went wrong with a backup in the past and the "created day" is the backup day not the actual created day.
