Select all by ctrl + A

Postby BlackRitus » Fri Sep 07, 2018 7:40 am

Hi,

Ctrl + A doesn't work in the bottom half of the window.

I'd consider it normal behaviour to select all by ctrl + A, but currently I have to tab, then shift+tab to mark an entire string.

Win 8.1x64
BRU 3.0.0.1

If you were at then end (or beginning) of a field, Shift+Home (or Shift+End) would work.

Also no concept of undo/redo (Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Shift+Z).

Yes, suppose additional support for more shortcut keys would be nice.

Years ago when I first started using BRU I was able to CTRL+A from any where and select all files. Now it seems I have to actually click in the files window do this. Not a problem I did like being able to select all files from anywhere though.

@Olhank
Actually I meant selecting whole text strings in the filter input fields. Can't find how to edit my first post, sorry.

I don't know which release did it, but by now (v3.3.1.0) this support is given. Thank you!
