Filter Refreshes When Clicking Task Bar

First off, love BRU, been using it for years now. Also, sorry if this is mentioned elsewhere, I was unable to locate anything on this specific topic.

Is there a way to disable the auto-refresh of the filter as BRU is indexing a directory structure? When I am doing a filter against a large directory structure (recursively), then click out of BRU (specifically on the task bar for me), BRU starts over again.
