Can remove/insert at column position count right to left?
Posted: Mon Jan 30, 2006 3:56 pmI just had occassion to rename a small boatload of files in which the section I needed to rename was always in the same column counting from the right, but in different colums counting from the left. A checkbox for "right to left" in sections which use column count would be useful.
A more powerful alternative could be a "sticky" "tab" feature that can be set in various ways, including left-right and right-left, and which effectively divides a file. The user can then set "ignore left/right of tab"
Renaming then proceeds with BRU operating on the desired segment as if it were the entire filename.
