Bulk Rename Utility

Hi,
i'm David, i'm Italian
usually i rename my photos with date, H M S like a --> 20110605201254.JPG
But...I want to know: when i do 3 shot per second with my Nikon D3000...
how can I rename my photos in this mode?

20110605201254_6551.JPG

when the number 65xx is the total shots number of my Nikon...
is possible to extract this exif data?
