Freeze on network drive access

Hi we seem to have a problem with BRU whereby it locks up for a very long time when accessing our CAD network drive. There are a large number of folders with a large number of cad files on this drive. Is there anything in particular I should look for. it has only happened in the last two months so believe it may have something to do with our setup on the network, but am not sure. Thanks

We are having this same problem when accessing a mapped drive on our network. Program freezes and can't do anything. If you let it sit a while it will eventually start working again and am able to access the network shared drive.
We are using Windows 7 64 bit and did download the 64 bit version.

Yeah sounds like the same issue. We are using Windows 7 64 bit as well

I had this issue on Windows 10. The slow response appears to be related to querying the Size and Date fields on a network drive.
To work around this issue, first go to a local drive and select a folder that contains files. Do a Right Click on the header row and turn off the Size and Date fields. You should be able to navigate to a network drive and the file names will appear quickly.
