Hi,

firstly I'd like to thank you for such a great program :D

let's say I have files like the following...

set515-1-lg.jpg
--
set515-10-lg.jpg
--
set515-100-lg.jpg
--

and I want to rename them automaticaly to...

set515-001-lg.jpg
--
set515-010-lg.jpg
--
set515-100-lg.jpg

I realise the Numbering(10) section will do it but only (it seems) in a fiddly process of selecting 1-9 then 10-99 and altering the Padding each time.

An easy solution would be if there was a max filename length in there somewhere (not just in the selection criteria)

edit

I experimented a bit more with selection criteria and with the folders deslected und subfolders selected, I was able to achieve what I wanted in only two passes on thousands of files under the base dir :D

I must say... this utlity is AWESOME!!!

:D :D :D

What you could have done is used the REMOVE part (box 5), or a Regular Expression (box 1) to completely remove to number part, and then use AutoNumber (box 10) to insert a padded number. This probably would have achieved the same result.
