I just installed BRU and love this utility. How can I (or is it possible) to have the BRU open up to my desktop, instead of my C partition?

Note this can vary depending on versions:

Options / Favorites / SaveOnExit=Checked
Navigate to your desktop & then exit BRU
BRU should prompt you to create a .bru settings-file (which holds your StartDirectory)
It should also edit a line in your .ini-file (with FullPath to find that .bru settings-file)

You should be done after that! but Ive seen cases where BRU wont update the .ini-file
In those cases, manually updating the .ini-line has always restored functionality.
Just in case you need it, before/after examples of the ini-line are given below:
Favourite Path=""
Favourite Path="C:\FullPath\ToWhere\YouSaved\settingsfile.bru"

You may want to uncheck SaveOnExit once you get everything setup right,
otherwise, you'll get prompted for saves each time you close BRU.
