Batch rename files in folders as the same name as the folder

Postby oasis5001 » Mon Jan 27, 2014 12:03 am

I have some folders set up like this:

Videos(parent folder)>>>

50 Cent interview>>> 50vid.avi
Howard Stern>>>Strn.avi
Metal Gear Solid>>>MGS.avi

I want to set it up so 50vid.avi will be renamed to 50 Cent Interview. I can rename it easily if I do it individually, but I want to rename 50 cent, Howard stern and metal gear solid files all at the same time.

Is there a way to set the levels in the Append folder name to go down instead of up? Sorry if this is an easy fix, I just cant figure it out.

Thanks.

9Level always starts at CurDir, & increases towards root with each level.
But it has no effect on matched File/DirNames displayed in BRU's right-pane.

It sounds like you prob want 12SubFolders (matches/displays all SubDir files)?
You can also drag SubDirs into BRU's right-pane (to see files within them).
