Is it possible to use the file mask to display a list of all the files in a directory with special characters? Specifically I'm looking to filter to files with one or more of the characters \ / : * ? \ " < > | # % in them.

Is this a joke? Is April the 1th again?
On what filesystem you are on where such symbols would be allowed in a filename anyway? Not on Win32 for sure. Except for that are lock-alike unicode signs and for # + %.

You should tell us what your really are after...

BTW, to filter files you can use the Selection(12) Filter box (http://www.bulkrenameutility.co.uk/Screenshots.php)
