Movie Renaming - HELP!!!

Postby franco » Sat Aug 23, 2014 5:53 am

Hello,

I'm trying to rename files to match a recommended naming convention in a movie manager.

Currently, all my files are named as such:

originaltitle (year) (foreignlanguagetitle).mkv

I would like to invert the pattern so that the original title is placed in parenthesis at the end of the file name and that the foreign language title takes the place of the orginal title, all the while, keeping the (year) where it stands. Final result would be:

foreignlanguagetitle (year) (originaltitle).mkv

Can this be acheived in BRU?

Many thanks for your help!

Hi, use BRU regular expressions:

RexEx (1)
Match :
(.*) (.*) \((.*)\)
Replace:
\3 \2 (\1)
