Bulk Rename Utility

Hi

I like the concept of this tool, but I am struggling to use the interface to rename a sequence of files. Would be grateful of some help
The files are currently in order PICT0005.jpg to PICT0017.jpg to PICT0040.jpg etc.

I can see to change the first one in Replace (3) using 0005 and 0040 but how do I change the rest please.

Sorry, I mistyped my question

Current files are PICT0005 onwards

I want them to be PICT0040 onwards

OK, make sure files are sorted properly in the file list in BRU.
Select all files you wish to rename.
Set remove last 4 digits with Remove (5)
and use Numbering (10) to add the new numbers as you need.
You can experiment until you have the right settings.
Finally click on Rename when ready.
