Track listing

Jim

Can you put in a few release an option to show track number (as in Windows Explorer or other file managers) for the file properties in the right side of the file listing ? This would be really useful for when you are trying to organise audio files and adding a numbering sequence.

Thanks for all your efforts.

Hi,

I'm compiling changes for the next release, is this still required?

Hi Jim

I still think it would be a great little tweak. The only other way my simple mind can see to do it is slowly and manually doing each file individually.
Still, yours is a nice piece of work as it is !

No problem, I've now added that to the current build, and it will be included in the next release.

Look forward to seeing it in due course.

Hi Jim

The track listing for the present unfortunately just seems to return a zero for all files in the respective folder, whether they have a track tag or not.

Regards

Have you specified to extract ID3 data? And are you using ID3 1.1 tags?

My own MP3 files were processed correctly during testing.

Jim

Oops! I had not looked at the option/extract and in the help file looked for track rather than id3 tags. mea culpa. And thanks very much, it now does just what I asked for those files ....

Yours

Track listing

Postby A1ACowboy » Tue May 08, 2007 4:55 pm

The track numbers show in the window, however, I am unable to sort by the track number. It is like the sort functionality is disabled for that button. No carat appears when clicking on the track number.

Am I doing something wrong? I have completed a reinstall and removed all registry keys and everything.

Thanks

I see cowboy beat me to it.

We've tried to get the sort feature to work on two machines.

BTW - this utility is awesome! Thank you for your time and effort in creating such a masterpiece :) It helps greatly with managing my music and photo libraries.

below are two screenshots after clicking on the Track Sort title

I think I forgot to handle the sorting for that new column

I will add this into the next build.
