Bulk Rename Utility

I uninstalled my older version and downloaded and installed 2.5.3.1

The program sporadically opens. It usually hangs and runs my processor at 50%.

I tried uninstall, re-download and new install. Same problem. Rebooting has no effect.

I am using XP home on an Intel dual core 3.2ghz with 2g RAM

Hi,

It's most likely trying to hold on to a path name that no longer exists. Try double-clciking a different .BRU file (if you have one), or run BRU with /RESET as a parameter - that will clear the registry settings.
