Postby lupo_75 » Wed Aug 08, 2007 6:34 pm

Hi all,
is there any possibility to apply rename command to all files that are present in different directory?
I mean: I have about 300 directories and I need to rename all files in them (I have to apply same chenges to all files). Is there any possibility to do this?
Thank a lot gor your support

Hi,

Only if they all exist under a parent directory. So for example, if they are all on your C: drive then select the C: drive root and tick the subfolders option. Then you can select the files you need to rename.

You can always move the folders, perform the rename, then move them back.
