Simply remove all # symbols from all filenames

I would like to remove the # symbol from any file name in a group of folders. When I put the # symbol in the Chars box under Remove and let it scan it never finds files to rename. I'm sure I'm missing something simple, can anyone elaborate? Thanks.

Do tell how, so others will also know.

You could do this by selecting subfolders in "Filters (12)" (deselect "Folders") and place # in Replace (3), then select all the files.

Works for me anyway
