Bulk Rename Utility

I really appreciate the Bulk Rename Utility, and have used for files, But can it do with lines of text what it does with file names?
I have to repeat a line of text 4,232 times, inside a text file, with a different suffix number for each line. Will BRU do that?
It's a list inside a batch file for a program....... i.e.
fx/fx_jackandjill_001
fx/fx_jackandjill_002....etc to 4,232.
This would be a monumental task without some sort of automation.
I hope BRU can help with this.
Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Notepad++ has a regex search and replace feature. Also Their is "PSPad"
