Targeting files
Posted: Wed Mar 07, 2018 4:35 pmI've found it very hard to make BRU find files according to criteria like filename so I can proceed with *BULK* rename. For example, I have a file named "test" in multiple folders and I want to rename all files named "test", giving the parent folder name, which are all different. I've only succeeded to rename each "test" file one at a time. When I select parent folders I have seemingly no option to change all "test" files within them, giving them parent folder names. I hope this is clear... is there a way to bulk rename files in each folder giving them parent directory names?
