Tags do not work?

Version 2.0.7.1, Win XP.

In the manual I downloaded from your web site: BRU_Manual.pdf, in page 7, I can see the page layout that is the same that is displayed with the version I am using.

I would like to add the artist to an mp3 file, to be showed by Windows Explorer.

In page 11, Additions, it says that I can use %r, %l, %t, %k.

All 4 give me the same behaviour. It adds the text in the filename but it is not recognized as Artist, Album, etc. when I use Windows Explorer.

Am I doing something wrong or this option is for other purposes?

Hi,

The tags are ONLY for use in renaming of files. BRU does not give you the facility to update ID3 tags (which is what Explorer shows). Instead you need to look at something like JJ MP3 Renamer.
