Sorting problem

BRU seems to be randomly sorting the files on the main screen.

I have renamed all the files in a folder with the following prefix:
2008-#####-DC

The ‘#####’ ranges from 00001 to 00036. Windows Explorer list the files in the proper sequence. BRN lists the files in a different random sequence each time I “open/close/open” the folder. It appears that they are listed in the proper sequence as the right hand portion of the screen is being populated, but quickly rearrange to a random sequence.

I thought it was just the files that I had renamed tonight, but I’ve looked back at other folders & some of them are also are listed out of sequence (sometimes).

Could I have somehow unknowingly reset an option? BRU has never acted like this before.

I used version (2.6.1.0) for assigning the prefixes. I just discovered & downloaded version 2.7.0.2 and continue to have this problem.

I knew I was being incredibly stupid. Thanks for not calling me that. I looked at everything except the obvious. Thanks again for a great utility.
