Bulk rename from text file with New and Old names

Hi,

I can not get this to work...

I have a .txt file with data in it as follows:
090042078007fd01.pdf|KE01-TQ-B06-S-B06-00023-001.pdf
090042078008b21f.pdf|KE01-TQ-B06-S-B06-00023-002.pdf
09004207800849f0.pdf|KE01-TQ-B06-R-B06-00028-001.pdf
0900420780086e8e.pdf|KE01-TQ-B06-R-B06-00028-002.pdf
0900420780084a26.pdf|KE01-TQ-B06-R-B06-00029-001.pdf
090042078008c36d.pdf|KE01-TQ-B06-P-B06-00025-001.pdf

I open BRU then on the file menu I click Impotr rename pairs - navigate to the above file and open it.
Absolutely nothing happens.

Please could you assist?

Did you then press Ctrl+A to highlight your files?

Hi Jim,
Ste by Step, this is what I do:

Open BRU
File --> Import rename-pairs-->
BRU opens a navigation window
I navigate to my file
I double-click on file name
navigation window closes
BRU looks identical to before I performed that action.
There is however a message in the status bar saying 'Imported Pairs'
I can't see my file / data anywhere in BRU.
Has it put it somewhere that perhaps I can not see?

Ok I figured it out.
Once I have imported my text file
I need to navigate to the actual files, in BRU, that need to be renamed, and select them.
Then it show them with their new names.

Then I press the Rename button.
