MP3 ID3v1.1 Tag renaming

Uses BRU 2.7.0.2 on Win98SE

I didn't get properly from the help file, is it or not possible to rename <title><artist><album> ID3V1.1 tags?

If yes I didn't grasp:
1/ how to visualise them - Option>Extract>ID3 Data (MP3) is checked.
2/ how to rename them, viz specify which field as if it were a file name renaming.
3/ incidence if MP3 is also ID3V2.x rich - viz are they lost or altered?

Hi Philippe,

You can extract and view the tags, and use them as part of the name of a new file, but you cannot *change* the tags. You need something like JJ MP3 Renamer for that, as it can handle both ID3 1.1 and v2 tags.

I think that mp3Tag Pro (http://www.mymusictools.com/music_management_3/mp3tag_pro_26668.htm) whould be perfect for you to rename tags. At least this program helped me when I needed to do it.
