Jump to path

I appreciate your improvement of Actions|Jump to Path.
Nevertheless I have another suggestion:
What if this option was available as a permanent address bar at the top of the screen, such as Windows Explorer provides? There is so much space besides the menu bar which could be used for it. It should react just the same way Explorer's address bar does: If one jumps/clicks to a different path, it should show the updated address. Firstly this would allow the user to jump to the desired path just by copy/paste without opening a menu and secondly one would always have a look onto the actual path he's working in.
Any chance to implement this?
