Crash on launch

Great product. Keep up the good work.

I just got a bunch of pictures from some friends. I wanted to rename them. When I launched BRU in the folder where the pictures reside it crashed on startup. I tried several times with exact same result.

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!
Program: C...
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

I noticed that these pictures didn't have valid Date Taken dates in Windows Explorer, so I toggled off automatic extraction of Exif data. Now BRU launches just fine.

I suspect that these pictures have Exif data that BRU does not know how to handle. No criticisms there, I know the limitations with the Windows APIs. Still, it might be nice if BRU didn't just crash when it got Exif data it didn't know how to handle. Just a suggestion.

Thanks for all your hard work.

I have this same problem, crashes out, seems to be due to some folder/file attributes when I am auto extracting them. if I make a copy of the files/folders into the same root folder works fine.

Thoughts/Suggestions ?
