Just wanted to thank you for this software.
I was going to try to write a batch program that I could use to rename files recursively using the name of the folder they reside in. It was starting to look easier said then done when I stumbled on this gem.
It took me a while to figure out how to do it but once I had what I wanted I renamed about 2700 files in 44 folders at the click of a button. The actual renaming took literally about 5 or 6 seconds. This job would have taken me 30 minutes to do manually. And being able to save the configuration in a .bru file is a wonderful feature. Now I can just open the .bru file and go to work.
RegEx is sweet. Recursion is sweet. Using folder names is sweet.
I look forward to learning about and using the full power of this program.
