Remove special characters

However, I have been sent a batch of files from a Mac system and the filenames seem to include the quote character ".
When I try to remove this using /STRIPHIGH or /STRIPSYMBOLS, the filename remains unchanged.
Is there a way to do this that works reliably? I can manually rename individual characters using Windows Explorer (where the characters don't appear but are sort of show with the character before the quote being marked underneath with a dot).
