Making Options in BR persistent and some automated ?

Postby Flourgrader » Sun Nov 17, 2024 5:42 pm

Hi all,
I wonder if someone could help me out with a couple of questions?
I am running B/R version 4.2 in windows 11.
I am looking to see if I can make my settings persistent
so whenever I run B/R my setting are all ready inserted.
I use RegEx (^[^a-zA-Z]+)(.*)
Replace: \2
I know I can use Manage recent entries and insert them from there!
secondary:
After renaming a large list of files
is there an option to auto remove the files
from the rename list after the Job has been done?
How I am clearing the listing manually by going to the top right of the
open list window and clicking on the Red Cross on the directory bar.
TY.

Hi, you can save all your renaming criteria to a .bru file (file->save as) and reopen it as needed.

Thank you Admin for the advise.
I have not used .bru files B4.

Yes that works a treat.TY....
I still can't find an option to do this in the prefrences:
After renaming a large list of files
is there an option to auto remove the files
from the rename list after the Job has been done?
How I am clearing the listing manually by going to the top right of the
open list window and clicking on the Red Cross on the directory bar
to clear the done Job?
