How do I import a list of files to rename into BRU?

To rename files from the clipboard (i.e., import the files you want to rename from the clipboard), you can use Method 3 from "Renaming Using The Clipboard":

1. Copy the full file paths of the files you want to rename to the clipboard (e.g., from Windows Explorer or a text list).
2. In Bulk Rename Utility, right-click on the file list area.
3. Choose "Paste from Clipboard > Paste Items from Clipboard" (shortcut Ctrl+V) or "Paste from Clipboard > Clear and Paste Items from Clipboard" (Shift+Ctrl+V).
4. This will load those files into BRU for renaming.
5. Now, you can set the new names using BRU's normal renaming controls (e.g., add prefixes, numbering, regex, etc.).

This way, only the files are imported from the clipboard, and you define the new names inside BRU.
