How to reanme at intervals.

Postby Hlodwig » Sat Jan 11, 2020 6:19 pm

First of all i want to thank for this awesome and very useful software. You are awesome.

My question is this:
How can i rename files at intervals?
Example: i want to rename X file to 1, 1x, 2, 2x, 3, 3x... and so on.

Is there any way to do this using Bulk Rename Utility?
The alternative is doing it by "hand", selecting each file by intervals.

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

I have a similar query.

My present file names are image100, image101, image102, image103 and so on, where the odd number ending files are back scans, and the even ones are the main front scans.

I need to rename these as x00001, x00001back, x00002, x00002back...

I understand that javascript might be a way to do this, but I have no knowledge of it whatsoever. Is there an easier alternative to do this?

Thanks
