Change order of listed files before numbering

I need to append the roll number and negative number to multiple photo files like this .......

an original photo filename roll no 4932 neg no 01
different original filename roll no 4932 neg no 02
etc
etc

Unfortunately the sorted list of filenames (which have different names) are not in their correct order before I do this so BRU applies the incorrect negative numbers to each file.

Solution ...

I have discovered by trial and error that BRU allows you to drag any file in the list to a different location in the list.
Once I have dragged the files into their correct order, BRU then applies the correct negative numbers to the appropriate files.

My apologies if this is a known capability, I searched through the manual and couldn't find any mention of it.

order of display sequence that determines how files are renamed.
