Renaming From A Text File in several subfolders

Hi,

on page 29 there is an explanation about renaming files with e text file that contain a list of "old name" and "new name".
This is the example:

Track001.mp3,Headlong.mp3
Track002.mp3,Rushes.mp3
TRACK003.mp3,AnywhereIs.mp3

How to rename files in different folders?
Is this example a valid syntax for subfolders?

Here is an example with subfolders:
C:\Users\myname\folder-a\oldfile001.jpg,C:\Users\myname\folder-a\newfile001.jpg
C:\Users\myname\folder-a\oldfile002.jpg,C:\Users\myname\folder-a\newfile002.jpg
C:\Users\myname\folder-b\oldfileAAA.jpg,C:\Users\myname\folder-a\newfile-AAA.jpg
C:\Users\myname\folder-b\oldfileBBB.jpg,C:\Users\myname\folder-a\newfile-BBB.jpg

Hi , sorry this is not supported yet, but will be added in the future.
Right now you can only use file names in the rename-pairs file not the full paths.

May I suggest another feature connected to renaming with a text file?
It would be useful a function that creates a txt/csv file with the file list of file of the folder/subfolders.

First I created the file list with ms-dos commands.
Now I create the TXT file with an option in IrfanView (the free graphic viewer): in Windows' the file manager, click right button to open option, select IrfanView and choose "save selected filenames as TXT" (see screenshotherehttps://snipboard.io/UNXYJi.jpg).

Hopefully this tip is useful to other users.

Hi, did you try the Clipboard Copy function in BRU already ? Right-click on the selected files and then select one of the Clipboard Copy functions you need.

Hi, I didn't know about that feature...it's great.
The copy and paste in Excel is perfect and makes my life easier.
