Add A New Name To Renumbered Files
Posted: Sat May 23, 2020 12:25 pmI have a folder containing downloads with random file names, which I want to rename with my own numbered standard file name. My approach has been to use the B.R.U. numbering section to number my files, then in the Remove section I entered (.*) in the Words box and ticked (chars). this seems to remove the name but leave the number intact. I have gone for "NAME" selected Fixed then entered my new name below, but this takes out my new number. Thing is, How do I add my new name, without removing my new numbers? I'm sure I'm just having a funny moment here and the answer is simple.
