Creating new name, retaining numerals

Just joined yesterday n sent (thought I had sent) a request for info but seems it didint get through.

I have a pile if photo images shot on location and a number of them have been edited so they end up as tif and jpeg fies, along with the originals shot in raw.

I've got myself in a jam because I have edited so many pics and didn't create a client company name first, then retain the file number.

So the question is - how do I make a text file (company name) for all files while retaining the photo numbers. Examples of file names include DJI_61 or 72 or 29.dng and so on, edited, as mentioned to have both a tiff and jpeg formats.

From what I have seen on utube vids, I can change the text (company name) but cant see a way to set mup to retain the frame numbers once the name change occurs . All this is very important to me.
