Batch Rename with Consistent Number of Characters

Postby njwheele » Tue Nov 24, 2020 4:15 pm

Hi All,

I make a lot of time-lapses. A couple days ago there was a misconnection between my laptop and my external harddrive, this caused a handful of corrupt files. After weeding out the corrupt files there has been a break in the image sequence numbering.

I am trying to rename all of the files like so "IMG_0001", I need all of the file names to have the same number of digits so that I can import image sequences into Premiere Pro to make the timelapse video. Can anyone tell me how I might do this?

Thanks!

See if this handles it:

2:Name -> Remove
7:Add -> Prefix -> IMG_
10:Numbering -> Mode: Suffix, Pad: 4
