Renaming List of Unique Names to List New Names

Hello all. I skimmed the manual and was unable to find a solution to this. I have a long list of filenames, each without a particular pattern in relation to each other. I also have a list of new filenames that I would like to rename them as. Unfortunately the new list of names is not sequential in any way either. For example:

How to rename this list:
Dog.jpg
Bear.jpg
Shark.jpg
etc.

To this:
GoldenRetriever.jpg
Grizzly.jpg
Hammerhead.jpg
etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
