Can we save case exceptions?

Postby JoeG » Fri Jul 23, 2021 1:56 am

I love, love, love BRU.

I often rename files so that I would like title case but not for minor words. To do so, I created a text file with all the word/abbreviation exceptions (the ones that shouldn't be changed). Rather than store that list externally, is there a way that BRU just keeps that list handy? I rename files so often that it would save me a lot of time.

Ideas? Thanks, all!

Hi, the latest version has a new Title Case Enhanced option which might help with ignoring some words for title case.
The list of exceptions can be put in Except. in Case (4) and saved with all the settings to a .bru file? Would that help?

Cool, thanks! I just downloaded the latest version and love the Title Enhanced option. It's much, much closer to making titles look as they should.

Most applications alert you when there is a new version. I wasn't aware of the new version because of that. Thanks again!

No worries, yes, we need to add functionality to check for new updates automatically every few days/weeks. 8)
