Rename mkv file to Title in Windows File Properties
Posted: Wed Jan 12, 2022 5:09 pmI had a hard drive get corrupted and managed to recover the files from it, but the filenames were not preserved. I was able to rename mp4 files to the Title in the Windows File Properties using <(Title)> in Add (7), but it doesn't work with mkv files. If I right click the mkv file and select Show List of File Properties I can see the title in the Title file properties there, but <(Title)> comes out blank. Same with a custom column set to <(Title)>, it will show the title value for mp4 files, but not mkv files.
Is this a bug? Is there some way around this?
