Bulk Rename Utility

Hi I just got BRU tonight in hopes of sorting out a bunch of folders I have. It's really important that some of these folders stay in a specific order and I've been slowly learning how to use it and have found everything I've needed except this one thing- and I dont know what i did to mess it up!

When I first was using BRU, Showing the files and subfolders make it appear like so:

Folder A
file A
file A
Folder B
file B
file B


But now I cannot get it to look like that. It keeps showing all the folders contents mashed together, and all the folders mashed together:

Folder A
Folder B
Folder C
file A
file B
file C

and this makes renaming everything at once impossible and it's making me a little crazy. I do not know what I did to make it do this!
Please if someone can tell me what to do to fix this no where else I've looked seems to have had the answer and I've tried all the sorting options available??? I think I'm just blind, or tired- or both.

To sort by folder-paths, can click the "Sub Dir." column inside of the file-listing.

I have All it's doing is switching which are on top, files or folders. it's still not nesting...

To sort files and folders together, can put a checkmark inside for the menu "Display Options, Sorting, Sort Files and Folders Together".

I've had that checked this entire time

Uninstalling and reinstalling didn't fix it unfortunately

Anyone have anymore suggestions?

Hello again.

I sent a email to support describing in detail my issue, screencap included. They told me to post on the forum and are no longer responding to me despite linking them to this thread.

I'm very frustrated cause I can't really find anything else that can help me sort out my files like this program does. It has everything I need but I cannot figure out why it's doing what it's doing, stated above in my top post.

Does anyone have any other way to help me?
