Remove characters in filename after certain # of char

I am trying to copy my classical music mp3's to my android phone and it will not let me move them over because the filenames are to long (at least that is what I am thinking it is after searching on internet).
So I need to remove all the characters of the filenames after 127 characters - pretty sure that's the max for Android OS.
Assistance would be greatly appreciated... I am not finding anything on searches on here.
