Conditional double number count

Hi, I have hundreds of images named DSC_0001 to DSC_1025 in a folder that I would need to rename into the following format:

First image (DSC_0001) should be renamed to 00_00 and so on, until 00_40. Now here comes the tricky part: the next image in the folder should be renamed to 01_00 not 00_41. The same idea should apply for going from 04_40 to 05_00, etc.

Is there any way to set up this condition and rename all the files in one folder? Or would I need to move the first 41 images to a folder, rename them with the count from 00_00 to 00_40, move the second batch rename to 01_00 to 01_40 and repeat.

Hi, you could select the first 40, apply the renaming criteria you need, then the second lot and apply renaming again etc.
