How to open BRU with preferred settings

I find BRU very useful, but I waste a lot of time because BRU opens with subfolders not selected. I've run a search through the manuals and this forum and can't find startup options documented.

Enable subfolders
File, Save as -> subfolders.bru
Quit BRU
Open BRU
It should then open, by default, using the subfolders.bru (where you have enabled subfolders).
