Can't install

Bulk rename was installed on E:, E: crashed, app doesnt work obviously.

But when i install, it wants to install on E. 'Drive doesnt exist, please select another.' No other option is provided, program exists. Cant install.

Confirmed.

A new attempt to install does not allow one to specify the installation location (again).
It simply defaults to the old location.

Even if you (were able to) "uninstall", the same situation still exists.

IMO, "installation" should not lock you into an installation location.
To bring up, by default, its' past install location is fine.
To not allow you to change it, is not.


That said, you could...

Use the Portable version, simply unzip & run.
(That does not allow use of the context-menu, if that matters to you.
Though there is a method, noted in these forums, to implement it.)

It looks like the installation location is actually found in the uninstall part of the (Windows) Registry.
(And an "uninstall" does not remove it from there.)

If you were to load that key, & remove the existing location from the value of the key, InstallLocation,
(& quit the Windows Registry), you should then be able to install anew.


If you do not know what you're doing in the Windows Registry - don't.


(In any case, that is a hack-y way to go about things.)
