Error message, "there are no items that need renaming"

Hello:

All of a sudden while working in a folder, I'm getting a message, "there are no items that need renaming" for photo file names beginning with IMGxx.jpg files. I've been using the utility for some time, and this is the first I've seen it do this. I tried reinstalling, but it continues to do the same. I even moved the files to another folder.

I have "Extract Exif Data (Photos) selected under the Renaming Options tab and am using Auto Date to rename.


Any suggestions?

I think I have found the problem. These files are not showing the date taken in the properties.
