How to make a "Replace" persistent?

Postby LordP » Mon Dec 16, 2024 3:36 pm

Hi all,

I use BRU mainly to rename files with periods".", to remove the periods.

Is there a way to have BRU remember the rename criteria? In other words, if I right-click a file, my usual term for renaming is already there and all I need to do is click on "Rename".

Thanks.

Hi, you can save all your criteria to a file (.bru) from the Main Menu -> File -> Save.
When you reopen Bulk Rename Utility, it will then load the latest used profile automatically.
Or you can open a specific profile quickly by using the "Open" button next to rename.

Thank you. That's incredibly helpful.

I did look at the help file but couldn't think of a search term.
