... but I just can't find a way to bulk-change "whatever.jpeg" to "whatever.jpg." Is it possible? Thanks.

Add jpg to Extension (11) - it should automatically change to 'Fixed' when you do so.
You should also add *.jpeg to Filters (12) to make sure you only apply the fix to files with a jpeg file extension.
