Changing a folder’s date should update dates of files in it

When I change a folder’s date attributes, I also have to open it and update each file. I want a one-click option that updates all files in the folder automatically. It would also be great to have a similar one-click option for general renaming.

Hi, I think it is already possible to select all files within a folder and the folder itself and change all their dates to the same value?

Filters:12

if you include 'Subfolders' (along with Folders & Files),
then all files/subfolders would be listed

& if you Ctrl+A (Select All) [or whatever applies in your case],
then your Change File Timestamps setting would affect all
the files/folders (or those you've selected)
