A big please for a feature

Hi,

I maintain a lot of technical docs in a library on one of my machines. I regularly go through and tidy up the names with BRU. The problem is that 'title case' which I prefer, renames ADO to Ado, ASP to Asp, PHP to Php (you get the idea). What would be extremely useful, would be a user maintained list of words that should not be renamed, that can be turned on and off as required, so when I go through my technical library I don't then have to follow up with loads of renames Php->PHP etc.

(Unless, of course, you know a way I can already do this)

Many thanks for a superb application.

Jim,

Sorry for the delay in feedback on a change, especially as I requested it. But health & work......

I have just loaded and tried 2.3.2.96 and think your interpretation of my request is great. I picked a couple of untidy folders and it worked like a dream.

Thanks again,

Jim,

After some more testing, I have found a big problem (for me, anyway).

If I enter NET as a 'protected word' it will also change the case in the word network, giving me NETwork. Should it not be restricted to whole words only?

No, the way it's currently coded it doesn't just operate on whole words. It's case-exceptions, exactly that.

I can try and make it more flexible for the next release.
