Limit Scan to Max Folder Depth

Would be interested in a max folder depth option (not quite same as path len max).

I have a bundle of the same name file MAINFILE.DAT that exists in multiple subdirectories. The output is from another system that creates a new folder for each day with same file names but new days data.
Y:\12 08 01 - 12 08 31\DATA_120801
Y:\12 08 01 - 12 08 31\DATA_120802
Y:\12 08 01 - 12 08 31\DATA_120803

I am using BRU to copy and rename these files to a new location so I can manipulate and grep them in bulk (have to rename them as they the same file name initially). My problem is that I don't want to have to continually copy and rename files that have already been done. Hoping to limit the scan to only a single level of a directory structure.

This directory structure is only set to grow. As above eventually I will move the DATA_1209?? to a 12 09 01 - 12 09 30 folder and process this but is there anyway in the meantime I can copy and rename new files without rescanning the old files.

I agree.. this would be a very useful addition.. Right now we already have (12) "Name Length Min / Max" and "Path Length Min / Max" but adding "Path Depth Min / Max" would help to isolate specific files within a hierarchy. Any chance of this feature being added?

+1 for the feature to filter by path depth.

I love BRU but I sorely need this feature. In the meantime, does anyone know of an alternative app that has the capability?
