Hi,

I did not see the latest work of Jim but this is another idea to improve legibility which seems easy to add (for a lurker, it's always easy...) :
Grey out the white parts of the "control boxes" (and maybe darken the whole box...) when these boxes are unselected (no tick near the little "R" box).
Saved in default favourite, this can help to visually disallow the controls never used...

(About a default favourite, I have not found that in BRU and I have made a workaround by using only one .BRU file (and not "Save on exit...").
I think this can be useful and solved :
- by the name (default.bru...) of the file in the BRU folder
- by the position (alone in BRU folder or "Default" subfolder)
- by a new entry in menu "Options > Favourites"...)

Finally, I apologize for my poor english, it's not my mother tongue !

Regards.

Unfortunately coloured styles are going to prove tricky. The Windows "Group Box" control offers very little flexibility, and doesn't even allow the border colour to be changed. There are workarounds (subclassing) but they're messy when you also involve combobox child controls.

So I'm afraid I don't envisage this gettign implemented.

Perhaps I'll rewrite BRU in C# one day....
