date change to next day

Postby keithinoz@gmail.com » Mon Jan 27, 2020 12:06 am

I recently took a range of photos half way accross the world to where I live. However, I forgot to change the date/time on the camera so that the date on each jpg is about 12 hours ahead of the local date/time.
Can Bulk Rename handle this issue and if not can it be investigated for the future?

14:Special
Code: Select all
Change File Timestamps
Date Modified
Delta
12 (in the 2nd box, [days, hours, minutes, seconds])
Negative

That should set the (Date Modified) date back 12 hours, time should rename the same only AM/PM should flip.

That changes the timestamp of the files - on disk, not in any EXIF data within the files themselves.

Copy some files & test ahead of time so that you understand what his happening.

This is explained quite well in the manual under both Auto date and Special menu - Change File Timestamps

Please refer to it - viewtopic.php?f=12&t=4743
